Sequoïas Garden

Sequoias garden - Ussy - Normandie


Near Falaise at Ussy, formerly the National Center of French nursery, at the end of a beautiful alley of centuries sequoias planted by different generations of the family, you can visit the garden created by Patrick and Marie-Christine Sebire.

You will discover in this garden trees and shrubs of collection, and an amazing collection of over 250 varieties of roses.

Combining a knowledge of nursery, and the art of decoration, paths through the maze, rose garden, orchard, garden and simple plants. All the plants are labeled for better information.

To enjoy all the scents, benches allow rest for a moment. A questionnaire game with a gift is available to youngsters.

An exceptional alley of 14 Sequoias older than 100 years. The largest has a diameter of over 2 meters and the highest is over 30 meters. This alley is one of the few in France, by age and number of trees.

This garden is accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Days and Hours of Operation
The garden is open to visitors from 1 June to 30 September daily from 14.00 to 18.00

Rates
The price of the visit is 4 € for adults and free for children

Guided tours
A guided tour can be arranged on request for groups and for schools (with questionnaire game support)
The tour price is 5 € per person for groups of 3 € for the school. This tour takes us by about an hour but can be extended by lowering the alley of redwoods and an overview of the work of the nursery.
